What Is Maximum Captain?

Maximum Captain is the MAX_CAPTAIN boost. When it is applied to the open Gameweek, the selected captain's Gameweek score counts twice.
Using Maximum Captain
The boost is applied through POST /squads/boosts/apply with type MAX_CAPTAIN.
- Set the captain you want to back in your lineup
- Open the Boosts panel before the Gameweek deadline
- Apply Maximum Captain while its state is AVAILABLE
- The boost becomes ACTIVE for the target Gameweek
- The same boost type becomes available again in the next half of the season
Tip
Use the live boost state and target Gameweek returned by the API before confirming.
